Love goldencap park visted last 6 years lovely area and views this year not so good, told when arrived no electric for day in the week with 15 week old baby, and 2 days of digging a path next to us we would of changed week if we were told beforehand as 2 days out of 6 spoiled. then lovely weather but deck chairs taken back as recalled an apology would of made all the difference.
In reply to the above comment; The electricity was turned off by the supplier for essential maintenance and the work on the path was a normal part of our park maintenance. The chairs were withdrawn because of a safety concern and we are disappointed that the member of staff collecting the chairs explained why but did not apologise. WDLH |

Decided this year not to Camp at Highlands End but instead went for a short break in one of the new caravans at Golden Cap. The site was very well presented and the staff at the small but well stocked shop / reception were helpful and friendly. The van was clean and very well equipped. My only complaint was the mattress was thin and very uncomfortable. The local pub "The Anchor" was busy, although ok for a beer I wouldn't want to eat there as it looked dirty and was a bit smelly. The beech is a two minute walk away, great for fishing and provided us with Mackerel for breakfast. The walk from Seatown to West Bay and back was a great way for the four of us (including a 8 and 11 year old) to spend an afternoon, I could walk that route every day for the rest of my life and not get bored with the views. All in all a great place for a short break. We will look into the comment about the mattress and we will pass on the remarks about the Anchor, WDLH

| We have just returned from a 3 night stay at Golden Cap campsite and it was our first visit! We absolutely loved it and will definitely be back. The staff were lovely and friendly. Facilities were very clean. It was great to have the beach so close by and lovely to wake up to a seaview each morning. Looking forward to our next camping trip already! |

| We have just enjoyed another wonderful holiday staying at Golden Cap. I feel it is my second home now and it is always a joy to return to the site. The staff are warm and friendly and it is always nice to see them again and have a chat. Wherever you stay on the site and whichever view you have whether it be the sea or the hills it is wonderful and relaxing. We look forward to many more holidays to Golden Cap. |

We had a great week back at the Golden Cap camp site in June - except the night of the gale force 7 when our tent felt rather overpowered. But we lasted it out for some more good days. We love this coastline for that walks. Wash facilities are always kept clean. we've booked to come back in August. Thank you! |
