| Just returned home from a great week at Highlands End, Would recommend staying there and will definately be back. Fantastic views and walks which we were able to appreciate because the weather was kind to us. We were with my sister and husband with their two children aged 5 and 2, we were in our caravans by the park which was great for parents and children alike, also the halloween party for the children was a real dressing up affair for the staff and guests. The only small gripe would be, if childrens drinks could be either in plastic glasses or the fruit shoot type of drink, safer for a 2 year old. Other than that a great time had by all. |

| Highly recommended site. We were camping for our first long stay and had read the reviews about the wind which we have to say were exactly right! Fortunately, we were prepared and assuming you are then there is no problem. In our opinion, the site is fantastic. Great facilities and a safe environment for children. We will be looking to stay once more next Summer. |

Note from Martin Cox - I would like to add an explanation to the comment below by Michelle. Michelle's motor caravan was occupying a hard standing and they went out for the day leaving a green plastic step on the standing. A new arrival who was guided to the empty pitches thought that the unmarked step had been left behind and set up their touring caravan and awning. When Michelle returned the unit was set up and the family well established.
We asked Michelle and her partner to take an alternative comparable pitch a short distance away and to our surprise they refused and insisted that we ask them family to move or give them a refund for the remaining three nights of their stay. We considered it unreasonable to ask the family to move and therefore refunded their money.
We appreciate that this was an unfortunate incident and in future we will insist that when motor caravans are out for the day that pitches are clearly marked ideally with the vehicle registration number on a post (we have signs available in reception for this purpose)
I am sorry that they will not be returning over such a relatively minor and understandable mistake.

Motorhome owners beware the moment you leave your plot to go visiting you lose your plot, even after leaving personal belongings on it. So would not recommend at all. fine if your caravaners the site is lovely but the way they organise their pitch system is worth giving this place a miss. |

Nice site and views. Site can be windy - campers beware! Site well maintained. Toilet blocks generally OK - let down by other inconsiderate users. Perhaps during busy periods they should be cleaned twice a day. Nice cliff top walks. Good access to beaches at Eype and Westbay, although its uphill back to the site! Good play area for children and lots of space for ball games etc. Bar with pool tables and a few arcade games for older children. Nice swimming pool with sauna and steam room. Although children under 15 have to be supervised, which I personally think should be lowered. Would recommend a stay here.
