This award is only available to parks with careful attention to detail in the provision of all services and facilities and of course, excellent standards of cleanliness are required in all areas of the operation. .

 

David Bellamy Gold Award for conservation -David Bellamy looks at virtually every aspect of park management - from the protection of plant and animal habitats to the efficient use of energy and recycling. Helping visitors to understand conservation is also considered an important qualifying feature.

 

Member of the British Holiday and Home Parks Association (BH&HPA) is the only organisation established exclusively to serve and represent the interests of the British parks industry. Membership is made up of the owners and managers of Park Home estates, Touring and Tenting Parks, Caravan Holiday Home Parks, Chalet Parks and all types of Self-Catering accommodation. 

 

Member of the Jurassic Coast Quality Business Scheme which sets out to raise standards and encourage andreward commitment to England’s only natural World Heritage Site. Jurassic Coast Quality Business status provides reassurance to consumers, staff, colleagues, the community and the outside world that you are part of this drive for quality.

Supporting Team Dorset - Businesses, councils, schools, public service bodies and voluntary groups have come together to launch Dorset's own 'brand' for the London 2012 Olympic Games and the Paralympic Games.

 

We are proud to be involved with the Jurassic Coast Trust which was founded in 2002 after our local coastline was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It is the only natural phenomenon in England to achieve this status. The Trust focuses on conservation and helping people understand and enjoy the coast’s fascinating geology. 

 The Welcome to Excellence series of training programmes, offered through the Regional Tourism Organisations, is the most successful customer service training initiative in the UK with over 240,000 people participating since the first course was introduced in 1993. Welcome Host can help employees acquire new customer service and communication skills, as well as improving their knowledge of local facilities and services.

 
 Awarded Investors in People which is a national initiative aimed at encouraging excellence in approaches to human resources management and enhanced organisational performance. IiP focuses on developing staff to meet organisational priorities and links human resource development to annual planning. It emphasises integrated staff development based on individual, team and organisational need.
