Facilities at Highlands End Holiday Park
Our superb Swimming Pool (20m x 9m) is well used by all age groups and is maintained at a comfortable 29 degrees. The luxurious Sauna/Steam Room (18+) and fully equipped Gymnasium (15+) are available to adult users. Please note that there is an additional charge for the Swimming Pool and other facilities within the Leisure Club which are open daily.
Pool passes are available to purchase in advance when making your booking or from reception on arrival. The Pass is valid for the length of your stay and entitles you to seven swims.
For your own safety and family enjoyment children under 15 are not permitted to use the pool unless accompanied by an adult also using the pool, young people aged between 15-17 may use the pool unsupervised provided a parental consent form is completed. No diving, jumping or running is allowed and no inflatables are permitted other than armbands and small rubber rings. There is no spectator area in the pool.
Guests staying at Sandyholme may wish to visit Warmwell Leisure Resort (approx 1.5 miles from Sandyholme) which is open to the general public, rather than travelling to Bridport. This offers a range of facilities to keep the whole family busy all day long. Enjoy some waves and the flume in the indoor pool or take to the slopes and try skiing or snow boarding at the Snowflex Ski Slope. All at an additional cost.
Tennis Court - this is very popular and can be booked in reception, it is open daily and is charged per hour. Rackets and balls are available to hire. Non marking soled shoes only please.
Shepherds Down Pitch & Putt - this is a 9 hole golf course on approximately 10 acres with superb views of the Heritage Coastline. This is open daily and is charged for, clubs, putters and balls can be hired.
For guests staying at Graston Copse and Owners at Larkfield there is the Bridport and West Dorset Golf Club to also consider which is situated in nearby West Bay and is open to the general public, and for those staying at Sandyholme you may line to visit The Dorset Golf and Country Club in Bere Regis which is also open to the general public. Children's Play Areas - our extensive children's play areas are in a safe enclosed environment that can offer hours of fun for the quiet or adventurous child. However, it is recommended that you supervise your children when playing on the equipment.
For guests staying at Graston Copse and Owners at Larkfield there is a public children's play area in the village which you can also take advantage of.
Recreation at Golden Cap Holiday Park
Fishing Lake - set in a secluded location and provides peace and quiet with the surrounding wildlife. The fish include carp and roach and pegs can be booked per day at an additional charge.

Recreation at Sandyholme Holiday Park
A number of exotic ducks and geese have made their home on the wildlife lake. The lake is fenced off for safety but the birds can easily be seen going about their daily life. Each year there are young additions to the feathered family. The birds come from faraway places that include China, North America, Nepal & South America. View the Wildlife Lake webcam.
