Duties involve Pool Reception, supervision of the Pool Area, and the care and cleanliness of the Leisure Facilities.  A Lifeguard qualification would be an advantage.

The post is full-time and will involve shifts, evening and weekend work over an average 5 days week.  This is an ideal opportunity for a person interested in the leisure industry to work on a Holiday Park with facilities available to both visitors and local members.

This is a full-time role based at Highlands End Holiday Park responsible for the pool reception and controlling access to the pool and gym. The duties involve the booking in of customers and explaining the various rules and ensuring their safety.

Applicants must be competent swimmers and able to assist a swimmer in difficulties although the rules of the pool mean that constant pool supervision is not required, allowing time to look after the cleanliness of the facilities and general duties around the pool hall and gym.

The working week is five days in accordance with a four week shift pattern which includes some weekend work. In view of the nature of a tourism business it may be necessary to work additional hours to match the seasonality of the activity. There are two shifts per day either early or late within the working hours of 0700hrs – 2000hrs. The shift pattern would be explained in detail at interview.

Applicants must enjoy working in a leisure environment and also have the motivation to be able to achieve the standards of service and cleaning required.  Experience of working in a swimming pool would be an advantage.
