Holiday Home Sales Advisor

We are looking to appoint a Caravan Sales Advisor on our holiday parks to work with the existing team to develop and negotiate caravan sales on our family managed parks.

The role will include participation in marketing and advertising initiatives and dealing with enquiries through to the completion of negotiations and ensuring that the new holiday home is handed over to the customer.

The individual appointed will need to have good communication skills and the ability to adapt to the demands of a seasonal tourism business.


The responsibility of the role will include: –

Working with our Marketing team to develop initiatives to promote the parks and ownership of Caravan Holiday Homes.

The working hours will involve a 5-day working week including some weekends and you will need to be committed to achieving sales targets across the parks.

Involvement with Caravan Dealers and Manufacturers for the selection of demonstration models and the referral of customers to choose a model.

Negotiating Sales with customers and dealers within our company guidelines and policies in respect of part-exchange and pre-owned sales.

Maintaining a good relationship with existing customers and in particular ensuring that after sales and warranty issues are resolved as quickly as possible.

The promotion of all the services on the park to existing and new customers.

The completion of the necessary paperwork relating to the selling and ownership of a Caravan Holiday Home on our parks.

Over the last 40 years the parks have been managed as a family business and the successful applicant will need to be able to adapt to the principles of a sales team within a traditional family business.

Come and join our team at Martin’s Bar and Restaurant at Highlands End Holiday Park (DT6 6AR). We are currently recruiting for full and part time Bar Team members. If you enjoy a challenge and like working as part of a team this could be just for you. Part of a family business, Martin’s is currently undergoing a full refurbishment and positions will be available from March 2017. Attributes we are looking for:

  • Involvement in product development;
  • Has the flexibility to work evenings and weekends;
  • May be looking for the next step in their career;
  • Be willing to learn about cellar and stock management;
  • Is an excellent communicator;
  • Understands the need for cleanliness, hygiene and health & safety;
  • Is enthusiastic and pro-active with excellent customer service levels;
  • Is reliable, conscientious, honest and hard-working;
  • Is self-motivated and self-starting;
  • Has the relevant experience for the role;
  • Must be a Personal Licence Holder (Full Time Role only)

The working hours can include day time, evenings and weekends depending on your availability and the bar is open all year, with functions during the winter months.
