Martin’s Bar & Restaurant
Martin’s Bar & Restaurant serves evening meals, Sunday lunch, breakfast and lunchtime meals. Local ales are served and home-cooked meals made using local produce. There is a spacious beer garden, which is dog friendly and an enclosed children’s play area. The Bar & Restaurant is currently undergoing a full refurbishment and extension that will be complete in May 2017.
Cowshed Coffee Shop
The Cowshed Coffee Shop at Highlands End Holiday Park is the perfect place to sit back and enjoy the stunning views with a hot drink and slice of cake. At one of the best campsites in Dorset, it boasts floor to ceiling windows with fantastic views over the Jurassic Coast and countryside. Grab a WIFI code for 30 mins free Internet Access with a drink and be sure to pick up a Loyalty Card to get your 7th Coffee on us!
Local is best, we try and support our neighbouring businesses as much as possible, supplying their fresh produce in our shops. We have a wide selection of those day to day necessities with leading newspapers, magazines, that scrumptious chocolate bar and other mini indulgences. There is a section for touring and camping with those little accessories you might have accidentally left at home and we offer a gas cylinder exchange service. Don’t forget to take home a gift from your holiday with our post cards and photo prints. Our friendly shop team will be happy to advise you and assist in your daily grocery needs.
The tourist information areas show many different places to visit, things to do and attractions for the kids in the local area. For certain events you are also able to book tickets with us. There are large maps with pin pointed destinations and a TV at Highlands End, showing an interactive DVD of the Jurassic Coast. If you need more information download the Visit Dorset app on your phone or tablet or ask a member of the team on Reception if you have any questions – they will always be more than happy to give advice and share their love of the local area.
Children Play Areas
There are two different children’s play areas at Highlands End. All have swings, slides and climbing apparatus. They’re great for kids to let off steam whilst the parents can sit on the benches and take in the spectacular coastal and countryside surroundings. The play areas are all layered with soft play bark and are checked daily by maintenance staff. Please ensure your child is always supervised by an adult.
Golden Cap Holiday Park
Throughout the year we offer a Pizza Takeaway service from the Park Reception, with some delicious varieties. When you arrive on the Park you will get a menu with your arrival pack with information on opening times, prices and options.
In the Park Shop at Golden Cap Holiday Park you will find everything you need for your holiday such as meat for the BBQ, alcohol, milk, cold drinks, newspapers, ice creams, bread, gifts, toys & games and camping accessories. Don’t forget to take home a gift from your holiday with our post cards and photo prints. Our friendly shop team will be happy to advise you and assist in your daily grocery needs.
Visit the Tourist Information room at Golden Cap Holiday Park to find a variety of leaflets and information on the events and tourist attractions that are open throughout the year. There is also a large Jurassic Coast Trust map with some of the best places to visit along the Jurassic Coast.
Children’s Play Area
Close to the Hard Base Pitches in the centre of the Park there is a small children’s play area.
There is a small fishing lake at Golden Cap Holiday Park and licences can be obtained locally at the post office in Chideock. Seatown Beach is also a great location for sea fishing.
Sandyholme Holiday Park
Nestled in the countryside grounds of Sandyholme Holiday Park is the quaint wildlife lake, a beautiful pond you can walk round and feed the ducks and geese. You can purchase duck food from the Park Shop.
Visit the Park Shop where you will find the essentials you need for your holiday such as ice creams, alcohol, newspapers, BBQ meats, milk and bread. There is also a small visitor information with leaflets of attractions you can visit in the local area.
