Highlands End Holiday Park and Golden Cap Holiday Park are both located right on the UNESCO World Heritage Jurassic Coast and in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). The Jurassic Coast has UNESCO as a World Heritage Site status, which means it is recognized as being of “outstanding international importance and therefore as deserving special protection.” This ranks it alongside the Grand Canyon and Great Barrier Reef as having significant international importance.
The parks are also set within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). This means the area is ‘a precious landscape whose distinctive character and natural beauty are so outstanding that it is in the nation’s interest to safeguard them.’ Our Lodges offer you the opportunity to see the coastline in all it’s majesty right from your doorstep! We’re passionate about sustainability and keeping Dorset as unspoilt as possible, so our Jurassic Coast lodges have been designed to be attractive but understated, blending seamlessly into their natural surroundings.
