Winter breaks
Dorset is truly amazing in the winter and our Lodges are perfect for enjoying a winter break in Dorset. We have Lodges available all year round (as well as Apartments and Bungalows) and this includes Christmas and New Year.
Yes the Jurassic Coast is spectacular in the summer sun, but it’s even more spectacular in the winter! Explore the coastline with exhilarating coastal walks (Dorset has over 3,000 miles of footpath). Storm watching, fossil hunting and stargazing are just some of the activities you can enjoy.
Visit your favourite attractions, beaches and places to eat without the crowds (visit our Holiday Planner to choose where to go) and enjoy empty roads and beautiful sunrises and sunsets.
Dog friendly Lodge holidays
We have a number of allocated dog friendly lodges at both Highlands End and Golden Cap Holiday Parks and the Jurassic Coast is the perfect place to bring your dog on holiday. There are a range of spectacular dog friendly beaches, coastal walks and many attractions, places to eat and events that welcome dogs. All of our lodges have gated decking areas and both parks have designated dog exercising fields. Highlands End also has a dog shower and Martin’s Bar & Restaurant has dog friendly areas.
Eype Beach, is just a 10-15 minute walk from the Lodges at Highlands End Holiday Park and is dog friendly all year round. At Golden Cap, Seatown Beach is privately owned and only allows dogs between November and April but the South West Coast Path runs right past the park, with spectacular walks to Thorncombe Beacon and Golden Cap.
A maximum of 2 dogs per booking are allowed and charges apply.
